Woodside Green Park is located in Gahanna, Ohio on 213 Camrose Ct. The 32 acre park has a nice size (1.75 acre), very fishable pond and access to Big Walnut Creek. While the pond gets a lot of pressure, decent LM Bass are still possible and it has a history of 3-4 pound fish. Channel Catfish are also taken on a regular basis. An Ohio fishing license is required.
Creekside Park offers access to the Big Walnut Creek in Downtown Gahanna. While this site is very urban, fishing is permitted (with Ohio fishing license) and fishing pressure is moderate. This is a Smallmouth Bass stream, but LM Bass, rock bass and even gar are possible.
This park lies just south of Mount Vernon off of State Route 13. It has 3 large, spring fed ponds (8, 15 and 28 acres) that run adjacent to the Kokosing River. Anglers have good access to all three ponds, both from shore and boat (canoe or kayak). While all three of the ponds have been stocked in the past; two of the ponds were just recently stocked (11/20): Center Lake with 100 walleye, 2,000 minnows, 275 bass, 260 black crappies, 290 hybrid bluegill and 150 yellow perch. East Lake with 2,000 minnows, 150 yellow perch, 285 bluegill and 275 black crappies.

The T. J. Evans Family Park is comprised of 5 ponds (old quarries) ranging is size from a 20, 10, 8, 3 and 1.5 acres. All the ponds have been stocked and last year the ODNR started adding rainbow trout again. The larger ponds are clear, deep and cool, due in part to the old quarries being spring fed. Fishing for bluegill and bass is reported to be good and if you are paying attention you might get a glimpse of one of the paddle fish that the ODNR has stocked in the last few years.
