The GFC was started in 2017 by Nathaniel Hock, Evan Noth and Jason Reding. The three juniors ran the club until they graduated; at which time management of the club was turned over to our current officers. The purpose of the club has always been to encourage conservation, education and sportsmanship through fishing.Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā

The Granville Fishing Club (GFC) is a community group, with a high school chapter. Club events (outings, speakers, service projects and tournaments) are typically open to everyone, regardless of age and/or school district. While we do compete against other schools, we welcome the participation of all schools in our events. Management of the club's activities are handled by the Granville High School club officers and members. Along with the events, the high school chapter manages this website and a Facebook page that highlights the club's objectives and focuses on community engagement. In the end, it is all about getting more people outside and on the water.Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā
