Spring Bass Slam (Tournament)

Spring Bass Slam 

The 2021 GFC Spring Tournament took place at a large, private pond in Granville. That Sunday, 28 anglers competed for a $140 payout (split between first, second and third place). The pond (and anglers) was divided into four zones and anglers rotated between the zones, fishing each for 30 minutes. Here are some of the highlights: 43 bass caught, 18 anglers caught at least one fish, winning angler (Luca Walter) took 1st place with a combined length (bag) of 63 inches for 5 bass, the "Big Bass" award (16 inches) went to Ben Lonzo and Andrew Dauber.
